DELIVERY AREAS

Orders are eligible for FREE standard delivery, within 1 – 7 working days. Within Zone 1, 2 and 3 of our delivery areas.

LARGE ITEMS

  • ZONE 1 – GREEN – FREE Delivery on orders over £100
Orders under £100.00 are subject to a £12 delivery charge.
  • ZONE 2 – BLUE – FREE Delivery on orders over £200
Orders under £300 are subject to a £35 delivery charge.
  • ZONE 3 – ORANGE – FREE Delivery on orders over £500
Orders under £500 are subject to a £55 delivery charge.
ZONE 4 – YELLOW – Standard Delivery
Orders under £650 are subject to a £87 delivery charge.
Orders over £650 below £1500 are subject to a £125 delivery charge.
Orders Over £1500 are subject to a £125 delivery charge.

Delivery Details

Placed an ordered, what next?

We will aim to deliver any day (Monday – Friday) from the date of order up to the stated lead time. Lead time is estimated at between 1 – 7 days, depending on the individual product and stock levels.

Once your order has been processed, we will email you with your expected delivery date. If your order is direct from a supplier, they will be in contact with you directly to arrange delivery.

Once we advise you of your delivery date for your Berkshire Fencing order. We will email you again to notify you that your order has been dispatched. Unfortunately we are not able to advise or agree specific delivery times.

Delivery Addresses

We can only deliver to registered residential or commercial addresses. Therefore, we cannot deliver to an unsecured allotment, car park, waste ground etc. – The basic “rule of thumb” we work to is: if a Royal Mail postman delivers to the address, it is likely that we will too.

Timescales

Our delivery services vary depending on the product, manufacturer and seasonal demand.

To find the average delivery period for any individual product, please visit the relevant product page. All product pages contain an “Anticipated Delivery” entry, which states the current estimated delivery period in working days. The timescales given reflect the current delivery target period offered throughout the majority of the UK mainland, however deliveries can occur slightly sooner or later than stated due to transport logistics. For example, deliveries to central, highly populated areas are more likely to be serviced regularly thus taking less time than location such as North Scotland, West Wales or offshore locations.

Customers are notified of an exact delivery date usually by telephone two to three days prior to the proposed delivery date. If the date offered is not convenient, customers can request a re-schedule with no additional charge. Deliveries are typically made on weekdays only.

If a product is required to arrive before a specific date – or you are concerned about access for any large products, please contact us for advice and assistance.

The Delivery

Delivery drivers are only insured to drop products off onto a kerb side or driveway and will generally not carry such items into or onto your property. This rule also applies to rear or side access or through garages. It is not compulsory for customers to be present during delivery; however, we will require a written authorisation for deliveries in your absence, either by fax, e-mail or letter.

Deliveries made in the customer’s absence will be left in a safe and secure place wherever possible. The liability for the safety of products will be at the risk of the customer if deliveries are arranged in their absence. Delivery Advice

We strongly recommend that you do not book tradesmen until your order has been received and checked by you. We cannot be held responsible for any third party charges for deliveries not received or not checked upon receipt.

All deliveries are subject to stock availability.

Longer lead times on products will be stated on the product information page.

Small and compact deliveries are defined as orders which can fit into a small box or envelope.

Large and bulky orders are defined as orders which cannot fit into a small box or envelope.
